In addition to these persons, the Graduate Center Ombuds Officer, Professor Martin R. Gitterman, may be consulted. The Ombuds Office (Room 7313; 212 817-7191) offers a safe and neutral place for all members of the GC community to discuss informal as well as formal approaches to any work- or study-related problem, in strict confidence.
All officers of administration, executive officers, office heads, faculty, and staff must adhere to the principles and requirements of the school’s Affirmative Action Plan. Employees and applicants are protected from coercion, intimidation, interference, or discrimination for filing a complaint or assisting in an investigation.
