In accord with the Agreement reached between CUNY and the PSC/CUNY the Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides forms for HEO's who wish to initiate a workload review or a request for reclassification. The Graduate Center's Labor-Management Committee will consider requests for reclassification that do not have supervisory approval or those that the OHR has not transmitted to The GC's HEO Screening Committee. Requests for workload reviews or reclassification that meet the above criteria should be directed to any of the Committee Members listed below.
Please refer to the following checklist when preparing requests for reclassification:
Current job description – what duties and responsibilities the employee was originally hired to perform (job posting if available).
Current organizational structure (organization chart).
Proposed organizational structure with reclassified position (organization chart).
Proposed job description – outlining new duties as well as existing duties.
You may, if you wish, request copies of your program/department organization chart and your position description from the Office of Human Resources.
Upon receipt of the proposal, the Committee will review it and attempt to return a determination to you within one month. A form with the committee's determination will be returned to you. Members of the Committee are:

The HEO Labor Management Committee considers concerns from individuals in HEO series titles regarding their workload and/or reclassification of a HEO series position. It makes non-binding recommendations to the President regarding workload and, if it deems a request for position reclassification to have merit, refers the matter for consideration to the HEO Screening committee.
