The Wellness Center is seeking the part-time assistance of a College Assistant.  The College Assistant will report to the Director of Wellness Center and Administrative Coordinator, Wellness Center.  This role requires acceptable administrative, word processing and computer skills, as well as excellent telephone and reception abilities.  Staff at the Wellness Center are expected to provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a high level of discretion and full awareness of confidentiality.  The College Assistant works with the Administrative Coordinator to take client phone calls and make appointments, greet and process clients, administer client forms and questionnaires, maintain client records, assist in ordering and maintaining office equipment and supplies. The College Assistant should be able to update and maintain the Wellness Center’s website, and help prepare fliers and brochures.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
-High school diploma
 
Preferred Qualifications:
-Administrative and word processing skills (50-70 wpm preferred), MS Office (particularly Word and Excel.
-Must have excellent receptionist and telephone skills emphasizing discretion, professional concern for clients, and confidentiality.
-Clerical skills in preparing mailings, publicity announcements, correspondence, filing, data entry, and scanning. Some expertise in charts, graphics and brochure/flyer development preferred.
-Integrate with the technical, professional staff, and functions of the Wellness Center.

Salary Range

$14.50 per hour
