Biochemistry: Student Honors, Awards, Publications, and Other Activities

Leah Cohen (Biochemistry) is the first recipient of the biochemistry department’s Horst Schulz Prize for her paper, “Expression and Biophysical Analysis of Two Double-Transmembrane Domain-Containing Fragments from a Yeast G Protein-Coupled Receptor,” which was published in Biopolymers (Peptide Science). The competition was open to all current Biochemistry doctoral students with a first-author peer-reviewed publication in 2008. Cohen presented the paper at a special reception on March 24, 2009.
