Music in Midtown is proud to present a third chamber music concert featuring the gifted artists of the Graduate Center’s DMA music performance program. Highlighting compositions by American composers, today’s works will include Henry Cowell’s Set of Five: Four Combinations for Three Instruments; New People by Michael Colgrass; Madrigals Book II (1965) by George Crumb; and Sonata No. 4 for Violin and Piano by Charles Ives. Performers include Steven Beck, piano; Nina Berman, soprano; Eva Gerard, viola; Barrett Hipes, percussion; Aaron Likness, piano; Manon Hutton-DeWys, piano; Melissa Keeling, flute; Joan Plana, violin; Jon Singer, percussion; Lisa Tipton, violin; and H.
