IRADAC proudly presents Dona Carter and her quartet as they perform the classic sounds of Kenny Dorham, Stanley Turrentine, Dexter Gordon, and many others. Join us as we pay tribute to the women who have contributed to this great American art form and continue to build its legacy.

Dona Carter attended the Hartford Conservatory of Music. She earned a B.A. degree in music at Barnard College, Columbia University and has an M.A. degree in music from Lehman College. Ms. Carter wrote and directed the original musical theater piece “Portraits in Major and Minor.” She has performed at the Town Hall and Bryant Park in New York City and at venues throughout the metropolitan area.
