Brenner-Moyer Wins NSF Faculty Early Career Award

Stacey Brenner-Moyer (Asst. Prof., Brooklyn, Chemistry) has been awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award. The five-year grant funds her research on organocatalyzed cascade reactions to generate useful synthetic intermediates in the synthesis of natural products and medicinal compounds. In addition, Brenner-Moyer is coordinating a peer-mentoring program for students struggling in science.
