Chemistry: Student Awards
Two chemistry graduate students, Mr. Hari Karan Akula and Ms. Amruta Ajit Joshi, have been awarded CUNY Graduate Center Dissertation Fellowships. Akula is a Ph.D. student with Prof. Lakshman who is working on synthetic methods for facile pyrimidine nucleoside modifications for therapeutic applications, and Joshi is a Ph.D. student with Prof. Biscoe working on nickel-catalyzed cross coupling reactions. All are at the City College of New York.
