Professor Louis Petingi has received a best paper award at the International Conference on Computational Biology 2016.

​His paper "A Graph-Theoretical Approach for Partitioning RNA Secondary Structures into Pseudonotted and Pseudoknot-free Regions" has been selected for the Best Paper Award of the International Conference on Computational Biology 2016 , at UCBerkeley, San Francisco, California.
