Self Service Password Reset

Attention Graduate Center Community:

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Password Reset Portal, which will enable any student, faculty or staff member to easily and quickly reset their password and unlock their GC account in the event of a forgotten password.
· Initialize your account by completing the brief registration process found at Any information provided is stored in an encrypted file.
· Passwords will expire automatically for any accounts not registered by November 4, and users of these accounts will then need to complete the registration process in order to regain access to their GC accounts.
· In the event of a forgotten password, the password reset service is available to any Mac, Windows, Linux, or mobile device user with an active internet connection, and can be used from on- or off-campus.
· With the implementation of this secure process, the IT Help Desk staff will no longer be positioned to reset user passwords.
