Faculty News: Public Health

DPH faculty member Shiro Horiuchi is the lead author of "Modal age at death: lifespan indicator in the era of longevity extension," published in the Vienna Yearbook of Population Research. The paper both examines and demonstrates the importance of the adult modal age at death (M) in longevity research. The authors conclude with the recommendation that M to be included in the standard set of demographic indicators and that it be widely used in longevity research.
