Robin G. Isserles is Associate Professor of Sociology at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, CUNY. Professor Isserles is currently on leave from BMCC to serve as Project Director of the CUNY Research Project on Academic Momentum. Her research interests and publications focus on the Sociology of Teaching and Learning, with a particular focus on the online classroom, as well as feminist theories on Carework and the Ethic of Care.
