Ronnie Kauder joined the staff of the New York City Labor Market Information Service in 2010. She is heading a major project examining labor demand and labor force supply within six industry sectors expected to have a majority of “green” employment. This research is a joint effort with the New York State Department of Labor, Stony Brook University and the University at Albany.
Ms. Kauder has wide-ranging experience in the public, non-profit and private career sectors, affording her a variety of perspectives on workforce development issues. She has designed, administered and evaluated workforce programs for adults, dislocated workers, youth, public assistance recipients and juvenile justice populations. She is an experienced researcher and writer.
Ms. Kauder is also Senior Practitioner-in-Residence at the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University. She co-authored the Heldrich Center’s 2009 publication, Unlocking the Treasure Chest of Labor Market Information: Crucial Information for Job Seekers, Educators and Employers in a Tough Economy.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
