Ronnie Kauder joined the staff of the New York City Labor Market Information Service in 2010. Since that time, she has headed a major green jobs research project, was the primary researcher and author of a report on New York City’s traveler accommodation industry, collaborated with colleagues in creating several career maps in wide circulation, and is the main author of the current piece on Careers in Health Information.
Before she came to work for the NYCLMIS, Ronnie worked for the U.S. Department of Labor, for a private company that directly operated workforce programs, and for the Heldrich Center at Rutgers University as a researcher and evaluator of workforce programs.
Ms. Kauder has wide-ranging experience in the public, non-profit and private career sectors, affording her a variety of perspectives on workforce development issues. She has designed, administered and evaluated workforce programs for adults, dislocated workers, youth, public assistance recipients and juvenile justice populations. She is an experienced researcher and writer.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
