Research Interests: Medieval studies, especially Chaucer and late-medieval narrative poetry; medieval interreligious (Jewish-Christian-Islamic) relations; queer theory and lesbian and gay studies, particularly the AIDS crisis and the construction of racial, sexual, religious, and gender categories.
