Eva M. Fernández, Assistant Vice Provost at Queens College, received her B.A. in Linguistics and German from New York University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Linguistics from the CUNY Graduate Center. At Queens College, she is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and is Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics & Communication Disorders. Her research in the domain of psycholinguistics spans topics on bilingualism and second language acquisition, with a focus on cross-linguistic differences in sentence processing.
