DPT Student Awards at Hunter College - Class of 2012

Ayers-Selman Founders Scholarship - Awarded in honor of Bob Ayers and Laurie Selman, founders of the Hunter College PT Program. Award based upon scholarship and professional activities as determined by the full time Physical Therapy Faculty:  Kaitlin Carr and Heather Griffith 

Edward Kechner Jr. Service Award - Named in memory of an alumnus. Awarded to a student with outstanding leadership and a strong commitment of service to the community, profession and patient: Laura Buckholz and Meaghan Morrissey

Scott Elderd Scholarship Award - Named in memory of an alumnus. Awarded to a student displaying sincere concern for peers and the profession: Laura Isham

New York Physical Therapy Association Student Participation Award - Awarded to senior year student who demonstrates leadership and professional qualities, academic accomplishments, and initiative: Ron Luu

New York Physical Therapy Association Minority Award: Yamilette Ronda-Velez

Certificates of Academic Achievement - Awarded to (up to) four graduates for academic excellence and extracurricular involvement in the physical therapy club activities and volunteer for program activities:  Breanne Breismeister, Amanda Brick, Kaitlin Carr, and Danielle Napolione

School of Health Sciences Service Award:  Tanja Konjar

School of Health Sciences James Felt Research Scholarship (2011): Erin Coggins

School of Health Sciences Beatrice Konheim Scholarship (2010):  Yamilette Ronda-Velez          

Clinical Education Award: Katie Becker, Tanja Konjar, and Danielle Napolione

All these award winners graduated on May 24, 2012.
