Dr. Wulach is Professor of Psychology at John Jay College, CUNY, where he is the developer and Coordinator of the MA-JD Program with New York Law School; Coordinator, Postdoctoral Certificate Program in Forensic Psychology; and Director of the MA Program in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. Dr. James Wulach is a clinical psychologist and a lawyer.
He is Past President of the New Jersey Psychological Association, and Past-President of the New Jersey Academy of Psychologists. He is a past Chair of the Committee on Professional Practices and Standards of the APA. He is a past President of the Society of Psychologists in Private Practice (SPPP). He is the recipient of the American Psychological Association's 1997 Karl F. Heiser Award for Advocacy. He is the New Jersey Psychological Association’s 1999 Psychologist of the Year. He is the 2004 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Psychologists in Private Practice.
Dr. Wulach is the author of the books, Law & Mental Health Professionals: New Jersey, and also Law & Mental Health Professionals: New York, both published by the APA. He is the author of 35 published articles in scientific and professional journals. He has made over 60 psychological lectures and presentations to professional groups.
