Dr. Wagner has research interests in infant cognitive development in typical infants and in infants at risk for autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Wagner brings considerable expertise in Human Developmental methodology, including the use of near-infrared spectroscopy to evaluate patterns of neurological activity during infancy. Her research spans several areas of social and cognitive development in infancy, including face/emotion processing and understanding of numerosity.
