Psychology: Student Honors, Awards, Publications, and Other Activities
Zak Aidala, a psychology doctoral student, whose work is in the area of animal behavior and comparative psychology, has received an Animal Behavior Society research grant of $1,250, and his paper, “Phylogenetic relationships of the genus Mohoua, endemic hosts of New Zealand’s obligate brood parasitic Long-tailed Cuckoo (Eudynamis taitensis),” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Ornithology. Aidala’s advisor is Prof. Mark Hauber of Hunter College and the Graduate Center.
