Summer 2017 Registration is open now until Friday, May 12th.
Below is an electronic registration form. Please fill this out and submit.
Please note that your registration is not complete, and you do not hold a place in a class, until the tuition payment is received by the Language Reading Program. For tuition amounts and logistics, see here.
Checks and money orders should be made out to "CUNY Graduate Center." We accept no electronic payments. Please make sure the registered student's name as well as the course, the course level and, if applicable, the section is on the check or money order.
You must mail or bring your check directly to the LRP. Do not bring your check to the Bursar's office.
Please consider that frequently classes close before registration ends in order to keep classes small: eight to ten students for a Level I course and no more than eight students for a Level II course.
Registration is open to everyone.
The registration process is as follows:
1) Complete the form below and submit it.
2) Make payment of tuition in the form of a check or money order made out to CUNY GRADUATE CENTER. (For tuition amounts, see here) Please make sure the student's name is on the check or money order. Bring or mail your check to the LRP office. Do not bring your check to the Bursar's Office.
3) If you are paying the CUNY rate, provide proof of matriculation. A b/w copy of your CUNY-ID card is acceptable.
4) If you are signing up for French Level II, section b, please make sure you have read this page about the class, and please complete and submit this form when you make payment.
Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, based on completed registrations. Some classes fill up and if that happens, you will be placed on a waiting list.
More rarely, some classes that are initially offered are withdrawn due to insufficient registration. If you do not get into a course for which you attempted to register, you will be offered a place in another course or you will receive a full refund of your tuition payment.
The LRP offers language examinations only to students registered for a course.
