Feminists Read The Merry Wives of Windsor w/ PHYLLIS RACKIN & EVELYN GAJOWSKI

Phyllis Rackin is Professor of English Emerita at the University of Pennsylvania and former President of the Shakespeare Association of America. Rackin has published four books and numerous scholarly articles on Shakespeare and related subjects. She was the recipient of an ACLS fellowship and a Lindback award for distinguished teaching. Among her books are Shakespeare and Women (2006), and Engendering a Nation: A Feminist Account of Shakespeare's English Histories with Jean Howard (1997).

Evelyn Gajowski is Professor of English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Gajowski has published three books on Shakespeare, and has delivered the keynote address at the annual Shakespeare Symposium of the California State University system, as well as more than 50 invited and refereed papers on Shakespeare and related subjects at UCLA’s annual Shakespeare Symposium and international, national, and regional conferences.
