The Blushing Bride: Nannina de' Medici, Consumer Culture, and the Evaporation of Identity in Fifteenth-Century Florence w/ ALLISON LEVY

Allison Levy, an art historian specializing in the visual culture of early modern Italy, is the recipient of numerous grants and awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Whiting Foundation, and the American Association of University Women, among others. She received her Ph.D. in History of Art from Bryn Mawr College and has taught at University College London, Wheaton College in Massachusetts and Tulane University. Levy is also General Editor of the book series Visual Culture in Early Modernity (Ashgate Publishing). Born and raised in New Orleans, she lives in New York.
