Description

In this workshop, sponsored by the Doctoral Students' Council and hosted by Pamela Thielman, Graduate Teaching Fellow at Baruch College, and Maria Mytilinaki, Graduate Teaching Fellow/adjunct instructor at College of Staten Island, Hunter College and Baruch College, we hope to bring together female students from any discipline to discuss the particular challenges facing women who teach as GTFs and/or adjuncts.

Format: Students working as GTFs and/or adjunct instructors will share their concerns in the form of five-minute provocations for a larger discussion with the group. All participants will be encouraged to introduce more topics for further discussion and offer tools and strategies for dealing with the issues raised.
Refreshments will be served.
