Description

Leif Wenar’s Blood Oil: Tyrants, Violence, and the Rules That Run the World is “a provocative examination of natural resources, their extraction, and their control” (Kirkus Reviews). Wenar, a leading political philosopher, shows how our everyday shopping supports authoritarian rulers and extremists in Russia, Iraq, the Congo, and beyond. He speaks about his new book and how to end this global system of oppression through a peaceful resource revolution.
