On February 15, 2008, "Where the Truth Lies: A Symposium on Propaganda Today" was presented at the Graduate Center by the School of Visual Arts in cooperation with the Ph.D. Programs in History and Sociology. Speakers included (pictured from left to right): celebrated designer Milton Glaser; Julia Hobswam, Professor of Public Relations at the London College of Communication and founder of Editorial Intelligence; Jeffrey Graham, marketing executive and a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the Graduate Center; and David Brancaccio, host and senior editor of NOW on PBS, who moderated.
