Fall 2007 Calendar

May 3 - June 8 (Thursday-Friday)
Registration for the Fall 2007 semester for those enrolled in the Spring 2007 semester.

May 24 (Thursday)
Commencement

June 8 (Friday)
A late registration fee of $25 will be applied to all registrations after this date for those students registered for the Spring 2007 semester.

August 6 (Monday)
Last day for non-matriculated and permit students to file an application for the Fall 2007 semester. Deadline for filing readmission application for Fall 2007.

August 20-24 (Monday-Friday)
Registration for new students, nonmatriculants, readmits, and permit students. Late registration for continuing students (those enrolled Spring 2007). Continuing students who register during this period must pay tuition and fees (including $25 late registration fee) in full at that time.

August 24 (Friday)
Last day to apply for a leave of absence for Fall 2007.

August 27 (Monday)
First day of classes for the Fall 2007 semester. All students who register on or after August 27 must pay tuition and fees in full at that time, including $25 late registration fee.

August 31 (Friday)
Last day to register for Fall 2007.

September 3 (Monday)
Labor Day. The Graduate Center is closed.

September 12-14 (Wednesday.-Friday)
No classes scheduled

September 18 (Tuesday)
Deadline for filing add/drop, changes of level, or residency changes for the Fall 2007 semester. All changes that may affect student billing must be completed by this date. No petitions for changes will be accepted after this date.
Last day to deposit dissertation or thesis and file for an October 1, 2007 degree. Classes to follow Friday schedule.

September 21-22 (Friday-Saturday)
No classes scheduled.

October 8 (Monday)
Columbus Day. The Graduate Center is closed.

November 16 (Friday)
Last day to file for unevaluated withdrawal (“W”) from courses.

November 20 (Tuesday)
Classes to follow Thursday schedule.

November 21 (Wednesday)
Classes to follow Friday schedule.

November 22-23 (Thursday-Friday)
Thanksgiving Recess. The Graduate Center is closed.

December 5 - January 4 (Wednesday-Friday) - tentative
Registration for the Spring 2008 semester for those enrolled in the Fall 2007 semester without the imposition of a $25 late registration fee.

December 13 (Thursday)
Reading Day.

December 14 (Friday)
Final Examinations.

December 17-22 (Monday-Saturday)
Final Examinations.

January 7 (Monday)
A late registration fee of $25 will be applied to all registrations for the Spring 2008 semester after this date for those students registered for the Fall 2007 semester
