CLICS Intra-CUNY Borrowing & Delivery

Use CUNY+ to request items from any CUNY library to be delivered to the GC or another CUNY library for pick-up via the CLICS service. New fall 2008: CUNY+ determines which CUNY library fills your request.

Find It!

FindIt! signals full-text in GC library databases, in CUNY+, or directs you to full-text through InterLibrary Loan. Use FindIt! to request items through your Grad Center ILL account. FindIt! automatically supplies information for speedy turnaround. Most ILL articles are delivered in PDF format within 48 hours.

Use Find it! at home

Download the library toolbar at home to use Google Scholar with Find-it! With the toolbar and your off campus login active, all Scholar and Amazon searches will signal CUNY books and Grad Center full-text. Google Scholar searches selected academic journals plus books in the WorldCat database.

worldCat + interlibrary loan brings you books fast!

WorldCat ILL requests speed to SUNY libraries first, then through our global library network. Most SUNY partners deliver books within 3-5 days. From the library homepage search the WorldCat database or Google Scholar with Find It! for ILL document delivery options.

Refworks & Endnote

Both leading bibliographic citation software packages are available free to Graduate Center students. Endnote and Refworks both organize citations & notes, connect to your files & URLs, and make your research archive keyword searchable! Import citations in a snap from the web or library resources; format your footnotes and bibliographies in any style. Use tutorials or library workshops to learn more.
