Annual Fund

The Graduate Center – committed to public education as the lifeblood of civil society.

The Annual Fund

The Graduate Center takes great pride in its ability to offer the best in higher education to a diverse student body. Charitable donations are necessary to sustain this ability and remain competitive with the country's top private institutions. Donations to the Annual Fund help make this possible.

The Graduate Center must provide a comprehensive program of support for all its students, including fellowships that are competitive with those offered at other major universities. The Annual Fund can help make this possible.

The Graduate Center must recruit and retain the finest scholars conducting cutting-edge research. The Annual Fund can help make this possible.

The Graduate Center must enhance its public role by promoting seminars, debates, and publications. The Annual Fund can help make this possible.

How the Annual Fund Works

The Annual Fund is designed to channel donations to the Graduate Center’s most pressing needs. Most contributions are unrestricted, but donations for specific programs are accepted. Gifts of stock are also an option. In addition to individual giving, donations to the Annual Fund can be made through family foundations and through corporate matching gift programs. The fiscal year for the Annual Fund begins on July 1 and closes on June 30 of the following year.

Leadership donors, those making gifts of $1,000 or more, will be recognized as members of the President's Alliance of the Annual Fund.

Yes, I would like to make a gift to the Annual Fund.
