The Purchasing department is responsible for assisting various Graduate Center departments in securing goods and services that represent the best value to the College in a timely manner, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Our vision is to create customer satisfaction with each purchase request by procuring goods and services in the most efficient manner. The department ensures that all purchases are in compliance with the University’s purchasing guidelines and the State of New York's laws and regulations. Purchasing also executes the bidding process in its entirety, creates purchase orders, processes change orders, and maintains the vendor database.
