As a Post-Doctoral Fellow, conducts research and teaches at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, contributing to academic programs in a specialized discipline. This is a non-tenure track position of limited duration.

The Ph.D. program in Mathematics invites applications for two post-doctoral visiting assistant professor positions. This is a non-tenure track position with a term of two years. Candidates should show outstanding research potential as well as interests in one or more of the scientific directions represented in the program.


Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

One of the positions is reserved for a candidate with a specialty in Number Theory who is a permanent resident or citizen.

Appointment will begin Fall 2014. Minority candidates and women are especially encouraged to apply.
