Description

The College Assistant will work under the direction of the Director of the M.A. Program in Biography and Memoir and assist with daily administration of the master’s programs.

-Answering and routing telephone and in-person inquiries

-Organizing meetings and events (e.g. fliers for events, publicizing meetings and events, staffing information sessions for prospective students, scheduling rooms and equipment, ordering food, set up and clean up)

-Maintaining digital files; interoffice delivery of various documentation

-Maintaining communication with other departments

-Gathering course schedules and course descriptions

-Monitoring and ordering office supplies

-Processing payment requests and reimbursements

-Collecting data for generating reports

-Maintaining and updating social media and Kentico-based website

-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
-High school diploma
 
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree
-An interest in biography and memoir
-Computer Skills – Outlook, Microsoft Word (including Mail Merge), Excel, Power Point.
-Strong organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Ability to meet goals and deadlines
-Social media skills

Salary Range

$17.00-$21.00 per hour
