The Master’s Program in Data Science is seeking the part-time assistance of a College Assistant.  Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Officer and the Executive Officer, the Master’s Program in Data Science's College Assistant will assist with daily operations of the office, especially the ones related to the Master’s Program in Data Science.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:
 
-Answering and routing telephone and in-person inquires;
-Maintaining basic updates of Program website
-Organizing meetings and events (e.g., fliers for events, publicizing meetings & events, staffing information sessions for prospective students, setting up conference calls, scheduling rooms & equipment, ordering food);
-Maintaining files; typing; interoffice delivery of various documentation;
-Maintaining communication with other affiliated CUNY campuses;
-Processing payment requests;
-Collecting data for generating reports; and
-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
-High school diploma
 
Preferred Qualifications:
-Must demonstrate sufficient skills to perform the duties of the assigned tasks.

Salary Range

$15.30 per hour

20 hours per week
