Dr. Jennifer Furlong, Director, Office of Career Planning and Professional Development

Getting an MA is a terrific intellectual experience.  It doesn’t, however, always provide you with a clear career path.  In this session, we’ll talk about how to determine what jobs/sectors might be the best fit for you, how to build a network that can facilitate your move into your chosen field, and how to present yourself to colleagues and potential employers in job search materials and interviews.

Please join us for a lively and informative session presented by Jenny Furlong, director of the Office of Career Planning and Professional Development at the Graduate Center.

Please let us know if you’re planning to come:

*Thursday, November 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m., room 7209, Graduate Center,

[*Please note the time change—we’ll be starting this one a bit later—and moving it back a week—so that students who work full-time can attend.]
