Description

Personal Statement is a documentary film born in the history of CARA (college access, research and action housed on sixth floor in Center for Human Environments)
The film follows longitudinally three youth organizers/college access leaders from NYC , associated with Student Success Centers, across their last years in high school, through into the college application process and into first year in college. CARA is the brain/soul child of Drs. Lori Chajet and Janice Bloom - both alumni of Urban Ed at the GC and housed at the GC.   The film is produced by well known film maker Julie Dressner.
