Anindya Kundu is the author of The Power of Student Agency and a senior fellow at the City University of New York Graduate Center (LMIS). His work has appeared in TED Talks, NPR Education, MSNBC, and the Huffington Post.
Alexis McLean is the Dean of Student Affairs at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York. She provides leadership for all areas within the Division of Student Affairs, and coordinates the structure of an environment conducive to the personal, social, and intellectual growth of students. Alexis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, and a Master’s in Mental Health and Wellness and Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from New York University.
Mary Howard is a literacy consultant and author with almost five decades in education. Mary combines extensive experiences as a special education, Title 1, and Reading Recovery teacher while continuing to do presentations across the country and offer in-school coaching support. She is the author of RTI from All Sides: What Every Teacher Needs to Know and Good to Great Teaching: Focusing on the Literacy Work that Matters.
Michelle Fine is distinguished professor of critical psychology, women’s studies, and urban education at The Graduate Center, CUNY. She is the recipient of many awards including the Strickland–Daniels Mentoring Award from Division 35, American Psychological Association; APA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy; and the Henry Murray Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.
