Philippe Geinoz joins Ph.D. Program in French as Research Fellow

Philippe Geinoz has joined the French Program as a Research Fellow in Fall 2014. He is presently working on a project entitled, “American Concerns: The US Presence and Aesthetic Inquiries in French Literature Around 1880,” funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. He is the author of a book entitled Relations au travail. Dialogue entre poésie et peinture à l’époque du cubisme (Apollinaire-Picasso-Braque-Gris-Reverdy, 2014), and the editor of La fièvre à l’œuvre. Du corps à la métaphore, Versants, numéro 59:1 (Slatkine, 2012). His essays on Jules Laforgue, Michel Leiris, Jules Romains, and Pierre Reverdy have appeared in Compara(i)son, Littérature, Poétique, Revue des Lettres Modernes, and Versants. More details on his work can be found here.
