Joseph Pentangelo won 2018’s Hogg Prize from The International Society for the Linguistics of English

Joseph Pentangelo won the 2018’s Hogg Prize from ISLE (The International Society for the Linguistics of English) for his paper "Phonesthetics and the Etymologies of Blood and Bone". He also won a $1,620 research grant from the Endangered Language Initiative for his dissertation, tentatively titled "Virtual Reality and Endangered Language Documentation."
