Four-Day Workweek - Summer 2018

I am pleased to announce The Graduate School and University Center will again participate in the Four-Day Workweek program, which has been authorized for the period Monday, June 25, 2018 through Friday, August 10, 2018. The Four-Day Workweek allows staff to work an extended work schedule in lieu of the six Fridays off: June 29, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3, and August 10, 2018. Employees who do not wish or are unable to work the extended schedule shall be given the option of working four regular days and charging the fifth day to annual leave. Since this year's Independence Day holiday is observed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, during the week of July 2nd, 2018, no extended hours of operations are required.

I wish to also take this opportunity to remind all Graduate Center's affected administrative offices and their staff that this year The Graduate Center's One-Stop Service for incoming Graduate Assistants is taking place from August 20, through August 22, 2018.

Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please email to or call The Graduate Center's Office of Human Resources at 212-817-7700.
