Interview of André Aciman about his recent book Call Me By Your Name, recently adapted in a film directed by Luca Guadagnino, already a hit. His last novel, Enigma Variations, has been praised by The New York Times as a Proustian tale of conflicted desires. Aciman is also distinguished professor of comparative literature at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York where he teaches the history of literary theory and the works of Marcel Proust.
