André Aciman, distinguished professor of comparative literature and French at The Graduate Center, speaks about writing Call Me by Your Name  (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2007), which inspired the critically acclaimed, award-winning movie of the same name. “People do spill their hearts out to me,” Aciman said. “For them, the book is very moving because it captures a moment in their lives.” The reporter calls the book a "gorgeous, lush love story."
