Clinical Psychology Student Named APA Intern at United Nations
Doctoral student Emnet Gammada (Psychology) has been named the American Psychological Association intern at the United Nations for the upcoming academic year.
The APA internship program allows graduate psychology students to work with the association’s NGO representatives at the United Nations.
A student in the GC’s Clinical Psychology Training Program at Queens College, Gammada is the first on the Queens campus to receive the award. She plans to work with the U.N. Commission on Aging.
The Queens program is one of three Clinical Psychology doctoral programs and among 14 areas of study in Psychology offered through the Graduate Center.
