New York Business Journal Features John Mollenkopf

New York Business Journal, 9.11.13
The Wall Street Journal… report quoted John Mollenkopf, director of the Center for Urban Research at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, saying that native-born whites with native-born white parents used to be a core voting bloc that could get a mayor elected, but now that group is less than one-fifth of New York’s population. Therefore, the Journal quoted Mollenkopf, “Now we’re at a point where you can’t win a general election on the basis of native whites against everybody else, because native whites aren’t enough.”
