When analyzing his victory by 57.5 percent in CD District 14 covering areas of Queens and the Bronx, the expert Steve Romalewski of The Graduate Center, CUNY warns at least a couple of surprises and that changing demographics fueled her victory was not corroborated by the data ."The majority of her votes, her biggest support, came from areas that were not predominantly Hispanic ," Romalewski was quoted as saying to NY1 News. "You would have expected the opposite."
