2019 Senior International Fellows Program -- Application Form
To apply to the Senior International Fellows Program, please complete the online application form below or the application in Microsoft Word format (available upon request). Applications will be accepted through Thursday February 7, 2019 (extended deadline). In addition to completion of the online application below (please scroll down further), applicants are expected to upload the following:
- Résumé or curriculum vitae identifying past and present employment, and educational experience and relevant publications, if any;
- Proposal (3-5 pages) for a strategy paper on an issue related to community foundations or community grantmaking, questions to be addressed, anticipated methodology, as well as a plan for sharing and applying findings and recommendations. The proposal should a comparative framework and must be feasible to undertake and complete within the duration of the program and while residing in New York City;
- Personal statement explaining what you seek to accomplish during the program and how participation in the program would enhance your work in philanthropy or strengthen civil society locally. Any professional or academic experience outside of your home country should also be described (2 pages maximum).
Application dossiers must include two letters of reference. Applicants should provide their referees with the link to the online recommendation form. At least one of the two letters should be from individuals who know the applicant in a professional (rather than an academic) capacity.

Due to the high volume of submissions, only complete applications are eligible for consideration by the selection committee.
