2021 Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program -- Application Form

To apply to the Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program, please complete the online application form below.  Applications will be accepted through Wednesday June 30, 2021.

In addition to completion of the online form below (please scroll down further), applicants are expected to upload the following as part of their application:

  • Résumé or curriculum vitae [Please note: CVs/résumés submitted here should include institutional mailing address only.  We request that any sensitive personal information - including home mailing address, date of birth, passport number of national identification numbers, marital status, immigration status- be removed prior to uploading.];
  • Proposal (3-5 pages) for a strategy paper on an issue related to community foundations or community grantmaking, including a plan for sharing and applying findings and recommendations. The proposal should provide a comparative framework and must be feasible to undertake and complete within the duration of the program;
  • Personal statement explaining what you seek to accomplish during the program and how participation in the program would enhance your work in philanthropy or strengthen civil society locally. 

Application dossiers must include two letters of reference. Applicants should provide their referees with the link to the online recommendation form. At least one of the two letters should be from individuals who know the applicant in a professional (rather than an academic) capacity.

Due to the high volume of submissions, only complete applications are eligible for consideration by the selection committee.
