Areas of research: Major: Art Since 1900; Minor: History of Photography, Modern Art of Eastern and Central Europe

Research interests: Patryk's research examines modern and contemporary art of Eastern and Central Europe, focusing specifically on art made during the decade following the end of World War II. His other research interests include Russian avant-garde art and history of photography in Europe. Patryk is currently the Mellon Humanities Alliance Teaching Fellow at La Guardia Community College. He previously taught introduction to modern and contemporary art at Borough of Manhattan Community College and completed internship programs at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
