Two Graduate Center Biology PhD Students Accepted into NSF I-Corps!
Two Biology PhD students are taking part in the NSF NYC Regional Innovation Program (I-Corps NYCRIN). This National Science Foundation program fosters entrepreneurship in the sciences.
Jordana Lovett and Gayathri Raghupathy from Professor Benjamin Ortiz’ laboratory (Hunter College) are learning how to develop and commercialize gene regulation based technology that has been pioneered in the Ortiz lab.
As Entrepreneurial Leads, they are actively learning about the landscape of the gene therapy industry and how they can marry science and business.
