Distinguished Professor Miller Wins Book Award

Distinguished Professor Nancy K. Miller (GC, Comparative Literature, English, French) has won the 2012 Jewish Journal Book Prize for What They Saved: Pieces of a Jewish Past (University of Nebraska Press, 2011). The book, described as a “memoir of renewal,” tells the story of her search to understand a collection of family artifacts, leading back to Eastern European pogroms at the turn of the twentieth century.
