Teaching in graduate school is one focus of student training. Dissemination of information to the large and diverse classrooms is not only a skill, but a duty as future experts in our fields. Pedagogy Day 2012 is the Psychology program's 3rd annual conference aimed to promote discussions central to graduate student training, experience, and skill. A primary goal of the conference this year is to focus on diversity. Diversity can influence pedagogical practices in two ways: the diverse content we teach in our classrooms, as well as teaching to and with diverse student bodies. Invited speakers from many of the CUNY campuses will participate in panels, and speak to these aspects of diversity in their field of psychological expertise. All disciplines are welcome to attend!
