Richard Alba Article is "Most Cited" in IMR History

On the basis of a compilation by Ruben Rumbaud, editor of International Migration Review (IMR), "Rethinking Assimilation Theory for a New Era of Immigration," a paper by Richard Alba (Distinguished Professor, GC, Sociology) and Victor Nee (Cornell University) in Vol. 31, No.4 of IMR, a special issue on Immigrant Adaptation and Native-Born Responses in the Making of Americans (Winter, 1997) is the most cited article in the fifty-year history of the journal.
